SFM - Facilitation Essentials Training (Des Moines)
Friday, June 09, 2023, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM CDT
Category: Training

Solution Focused Meetings (SFM) provide an opportunity to partner with families engaged in the child welfare system. Often, families face challenges that may influence their participation prior to and during the family driven decision-making meetings. This training will provide participants with information to identify behaviors common with mental health diagnoses and substance use disorder to prepare for facilitation of SFMs. The training will cover the impact of domestic violence during the facilitation process. Information will be shared to better understand working with families across all cultures.

You WILL need this course within a year of taking the Solution Focused Meeting Training.
