Lyssn Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a unique assessment platform which accurately assesses the use of evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With more than 54 metrics on everything from expressed empathy to open-ended questions to engagement and more, Lyssn AI will help Iowa’s Family Centered Services Contract Holders hone their skills, as well as better support staff, and programs overall, thus improving family satisfaction and outcomes.

Lyssn training develops caseworkers skills associated with "The Spirit of MI" and provides metrics on their ability to use those skills.

Lyssn provides the opportunity to enhance our motivational interviewing skills through five (5) Motivational Interviewing Skills Modules for four individual characters. These modules focus on:

EXPECTATIONS

Everyone is asked to log-in and update their password as soon as possible. If you need assistance with logging in, please reach out to your Agency's Lyssn Liaison

Each of the Motivational Interviewing modules should take between 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete.

CHARACTER SESSIONS & DEADLINES

All roles—including MI Coaches, MI Specialists, Supervisors, and Direct-Line Staff—are required to complete all five Motivational Interviewing Skills Modules each quarter for the specified client.
